Spicy Wholemeal Fish
2 large pieces of thick white fish (snapper, barramundi,hake)
1 cup wholemeal flour
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
Salt and Pepper
This is a quick and healthy alternative to the often greasy and heavily salted fish and chips which we are all guilty of eating!
Combine egg and milk in a bowl, whisk until egg has separated. Combine flour, breadcrumbs, spices and salt and pepper until mixed through. Coat the fish in the egg mixture and then with the breadcrumb mix until the fish is fully covered in the crumbs. To cook, place the fish in a lightly oiled pan for 3 minutes on each side or on a bbq for extra flavour.
Serve with the Sweet Potato Puree for a healthy alternative to potato chips.
