Fruity Bites

These fruity bites were a little experiment in the kitchen. With visitors coming around i thought these bites were a great guilt free snack for all. They can also be used for work in replacement of muesli bars or sugary yoghurt.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sundried sultanas
  • 1/4 cup gogi berries
  • 1/4 cup craanberries
  • 2 tablespoons linseed
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons pure honey
  • sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon melted olive oil butter
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • 1/4 cup slithered almonds
  • *Add your natural protein powder for an extra kick

Turn a fan forced oven onto 180 degrees and line a 30cm baking tray with baking paper. Combine all ingredients into a bowl and stir until all ingredients are mixed through. Roll mixture into small balls using your hands. Add more oats or milk if necessary to ensure the mix is firm enough to form the balls. Place balls 3cm apart on the tray and flatten with the back of your fork. Top with slithered almonds for an extra crunchy bite. Bake bites for 15-20 minutes until golden. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
